Smart Measure is a free application for Android phone that allows you to measure the distance and height you are to an object or a building.

Smart Measure uses the accelerometer in your phone to set the distance to an object. To use it, simply properly calibrate the accelerometer (which you can do directly from the app), then you can just put your phone in front of the object you want to study and click "Get distance "to complete the measurement.

You can also as I have indicated earlier e study the height of an object. To do this, simply select the portrait mode and point your camera at the top of the object or the top of the building and click "Get Height" to get the height.

Smart Measure is an application that is not more specific, but can give you some answers when you stand in front of a building and you are wondering about the height of the latter example.
