Download Barcode Scanner for Android

Barcode Scanner is a free application for Android smartphones and tablets that can scan any type of barcode to find information about products. You can especially scan QR barcode and download software directly to your Android phone.

To download software presented with their QR barcode (like here on Tom's Guide), just launch the application. The camera of your phone starts. Approaching the goal of the barcode, the camera point and once the barcode scanned a dialog appears with several options: "open browser", "share via email" and "share via sms." By clicking on "Open browser" you will be taken directly on Google Play and can start the desired download.
